What do you think of when you think of books? A dusty old library in Bruce Wayne’s mansion?

You couldn’t be farther from the truth.

The most modern and forward-thinking information on almost every subject in the world lives in books; from the sublime (recipe for key lime pie) to the ridiculous (jokes and humor). The most cutting-edge information on advancements in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing can be found in books, written by experts in their field. And new ones are being published every day.

From Agriculture to Zoology, the publishing world is composed of billions of pages of content about, quite literally, every subject imaginable. Want to know about the latest movements in Art or Architecture, or the earliest? Look for books by Phaidon publishers. The Internet of Things? You’ll find 148 books on the subject on Wiley and Sons’ website alone. Or maybe you want to learn to decorate cupcakes, improve your golf swing, train your dog, speak French, master origami, play chess, get fit, lose weight, or anything else you could imagine—there’s a book for that! There’s a book for everything under the sun.
